Thailand Snake Naga Serpent Ramayana Wall Decor ~21x21"

This  Large Tapestry is a Burmese Craft called Kalaga ............It is usually purchased in Thailand, though............. There is a thin cotton backing to which it is sewn..........There are shiny thread, gold sequin and broken glass shards ...it needs to be mounted (without glass)... sewn throughout to make this one BEAUTIFUL piece...

sewn throughout to make this one BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE piece!!! This is an OLD piece, and the Snake or Naga comes out from the backing (thick relief)

 

This particular piece is of Naga, the Serpent or Snake from the Ramayana or Ramakyan

sewn on this panel which is ~21"x21"............the background is cotton.......
