Founded as a family business at the end of 1991, Emerald City began importing from Indonesia to the USA early in 1992. Later that year, we started importing from Thailand, and in 1999 we began importing from Nepal.

Our goods are shipped from our warehouse in Florida. However, for very large orders, we can ship to you directly from the Asian source.

We can special order anything and offer a 'locator' service for hard-to-find items.

Emerald City strives to be economically and environmentally aware of the effects we have on the indigenous area:
We try to use reliable sources of woods that can be easily replenished.
We help make the working conditions of the local people better.
In terms of child labor, we use suppliers who only employ children from their own (or their neighbors') families.
